BBC short block kit assembly includes our block prep package: painting the block with low gloss black paint, deburring the lifter valley, honing the lifter bores, chamfering the cylinders, washing the block, installing Dart cam bearings, and installing oil filter adapter.

The short block kit is then assembled.
